About event
The Cultural and Social Center in Prievidza cordially invites you to evenings with a screen in the open air. There is a stray cinema that will settle on the Marian hill, where the film and nature will create a perfect summer connection. Just come and be carried away by the film atmosphere under the stars. July - waves
(drama/Historický, ČR/SR, 2024, 131 min)
The story of two brothers in Prague in 1967, where personal decisions encounter great history. Thomas inadvertently finds himself in the midst of political events as a technician in foreign radio broadcasting - and everything begins to complicate.
17. July - the sea in the yard
(comedy/drama, Czech Republic, 2025, 102 min)
Master violinist Jozef lives calmly in his workshop in the yard of the old house - with a puddle instead of the sea and a bitch dandelion alongside. When he realizes that there is no time for dreams, he decides to finally start fulfilling them. Kind and poetic story about friendship, music and desire for love.
24. July –bridget Jones: Go crazy to a guy
(romantic comedy, VB/USA, 2025, 125 min)
Bridget is back - this time as a widowed mother of two children trying to navigate the chaos of emotions, duties and peculiar support. But love will appear when it is least expected. Romantic comedy full of charm, humor and typical "Bridget's" awkwardness.
31. July - witch - suitable for children
(fantasy/musical, USA, 2024, 160 min)
The story of two wizard students who do not at first hate, but eventually combine their friendship and great adventure. The country of OZ is waiting for a dark period - and the rescue can be in their hands.
Entry is free. The start of the screening after dark from 21.30 h
Come and enjoy the summer that smells of popcorn, nachos, refreshing drinks, fresh evening air and a good movie. Wandering cinema - the cinema that will find you.
