Guru Rinpoche's seven-line prayer is one of the most important and widespread practices of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. It is considered a direct bridge to the blessings of Padmasambhava, the master who brought the dharma to Tibet. This short but extremely profound prayer is used to clear obstacles, strengthen devotion, and quickly connect with the wisdom and protection of the guru.

Its importance is so fundamental that it is the absolute pillar of daily practice within the Nyingma tradition and is also practiced with reverence by masters of other lines of Tibetan Buddhism.

At this event, Tulku Dakpa Rinpoche will give us a commentary on this precious practice and allow us to understand its deep meaning and practical use in everyday life.

About Tulku Dakpa Rinpoche

Tulku Dakpa Rinpoche (born 1975) is the third incarnation of the Tibetan master Drubwang Rogza Sonam Palge, recognized by His Holiness Mindrolling Trichen Rinpoche. From childhood he studied dharma under the guidance of his father and soon began to devote himself to traditional ritual practices and sadhanas.

At the age of eighteen, he entered Mindrolling Monastery — the mother monastery of the entire Nyingma tradition — where he spent nine years in intensive study. He graduated from Ngagyur Nyingma College as a holder of both sutra and tantra teachings and taught Buddhist history, poetics, logic and madhyamik during his studies. He also served as the first editor of the Minling Editorial Committee.

Rinpoche received extensive transmissions from the most important masters of his lineage, including Mindrolling Trichen Rinpoche, Trulshik Rinpoche, Penor Rinpoche, and Taklung Tsetrula Rinpoche. His education includes the complete cycles of kama, rinchen terdö, Longchen Nyingtik and the Seven Treasures of Kunkhyen Longchenpa.

He has been teaching in Europe since 1999 and now lives permanently in Finland, where he founded the Danakosha Ling dharma center. He is known for his kindness, clarity of interpretation and deep devotion to his lineage. He regularly travels and teaches in Europe, Asia and the USA.
