About event
Learn to play an Irish tune or two, and then play Irish tunes in a slow session. Slip Jigs! Mary Carey is the instructor for this week's session, and there will be slip jigs in the air: What makes a slip jig different from a double jig; when to play them; tips for playing. The focus tunes: Butterfly, Fig for a Kiss, Redican’s Mother.
The sheet music and play-along tracks for the tunes is provided via a free downloadable tune book and the TrailJams website.
Suggested donation: $5. (Thanks to CCE Oregon and a generous grant from the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs for picking some of the cost of these sessions.)
