A documentary about life in an oasis on the edge of the Sahara, where water has been carefully managed for centuries, and where hotel complexes - disrespectful of indigenous traditions - are springing up.

A documentary about one of the main fathers of Pan-Africanism and founder of the first African film festival in Carthage.

The event takes place in cooperation with the Institute of Contemporary History of the Czech Academy of Sciences. With the support of the Czech Academy of Sciences and the programme Strategy AV21.
