Event by: Portland Running Club, Tristan Muller
Location: University of Portland, North Willamette Boulevard 5000, Portland
About event
UP Turkey Trot 5K – Color Run for a Cause!
Hosted by the UPH2F Club
Friday, November 22 • UP Campus • 9 AM–12 PM
My name is Tristan Muller, I'm a UP student, Army ROTC cadet, and volunteer staff member with CityTeam Portland for the past two years. Through serving at Night Strike, where our unhoused neighbors receive meals, clothing, hygiene supplies, and meaningful care, I’ve seen firsthand the impact CityTeam has on Portland. That’s why our club is dedicating this year’s Turkey Trot to raising as much support for them as possible.
The Turkey Trot is a student-led color run/walk that brings our community together while supporting an amazing cause. Thanks to sponsors, 100% of all proceeds from shirt purchases, registration fees, and donations will go directly to CityTeam Portland to help them feed and support our brothers and sisters on the streets. In a season of gratitude, we want to give back in a meaningful way.
This event is family-friendly, affordable, and open to everyone. It's only $5 a person to register, which compared to most Turkey Trots is significantly cheaper. But if you can’t attend, donations still make a major difference!
What to Expect
• A fun, colorful 5K run or walk around UP’s campus
• Washable color-throw stations
• Face painting, games, & more
• A welcoming crowd of UP students, runners, families, and community members
• Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
• A chance to make real, local impact
The registration link is attached, along with more information about Night Strike, the event, our club, and ways to give. And if you have any questions, feel free to comment or message me directly!
Join us in supporting our community, we hope to see you there!
