at the turn of the year we did not exceed only five in the calendar. As a civilization, we have crossed a much larger threshold, and we at Atrium are committed to stepping further below the surface.
Since January, we have been devoting an early evening once a month to humanity's huge challenge - accept our invitation to an introductory discussion on the topic in a global and value context.
Our challenge is helped by our precious friends - experts Ľudmila and Peter Sabovci.
In the third week of March, we bring the topic:
Biodiversity of the birds of Africa with a focus on Kenya - a brief overview of the protected areas of Africa and Kenya
Birds of different areas and biomes: coastal marine, coastal tropical mixed forests, montane forests and rainforests, tropical rainforest, savanna and semi-desert biotopes, lakes and wetlands
A selection of almost 600 species of observed birds, many of which are endangered and rare
A special guest - prof. Ing. Ján Korňan, forester, ornithologist, museologist and conservationist, who has devoted his whole life to the protection of nature, with an emphasis on birds, and currently to the protection and research of raptors and owls, especially the golden eagle. In the past, he worked for almost 38 years as a specialist or director of the administration of the Kysuce Protected Area and Malá Fatra NP.
It is advisable to register for the event, it is not necessary to buy tickets, you will be happy to contribute to the activities.
The event is suitable for everyone who is not indifferent to the future.
