About event
In a regular cycle, which we create in cooperation with our Ukrainian colleagues and cinema friends, we project films that show current themes and ordinary life in Ukraine and let viewers experience the genre and stylish variety of cinematography there. There is a extensive repair and the cycle will take place in Světozor.
At the same time, the most poetic chapters of Ukrainian history - the world of writers and artists of the first half of the 20th century, whose names were trying to erase the regime.
The plot takes place in the legendary House Word in Charkov, an iconic place where the Ukrainian intellectual elite lived and formed - before most of it was persecuted, executed or forced to remain silent.
Music, image and poetry here create an exceptionally intense testimony of memory, betrayal, defiance and human fragility. The characters literally wake up to life and the viewer witnesses history that is not a closed chapter. The musical states real personalities on the canvas - Mykol of the Chvyljový, the Kurtbase forest, Volodymyra Sosiur, mychajla seed - like living people, not as memorials.
