✨ Give your opinions weight! Join Student Teaching Evaluation Week and find out why teaching feedback is important.
This week isn't yet graded - but we want to show you why it's worth getting involved, how it works and what you'll get rating may change. We will dispel concerns, answer questions and show how your opinion helps to improve the quality of teaching. The assessment will only start in January - come and prepare for it with us!
What awaits you during SHV Week?
1️⃣ Guerillas on the ground floor of the faculty
📅 Every day during the week (December 2nd – December 6th)
📍 PedF UK ground floor
Every day you will discover a different thematic guerilla that will draw you into the world of student evaluation of teaching. Think, discuss and discover what SHV can affect.
The area will also include a Complaint Box, where you can anonymously share your opinions, questions, suggestions or even concerns regarding the assessment throughout the week.
2️⃣ Round table with the dean and guests
📅 Tuesday 3/12/2024

📍 Room: R016
Come to a discussion with the dean, other members of the faculty management and student representatives.
📌 Round table topics:
➡️ How to increase the return on student evaluation? What can each of us do for this?
➡️ Concrete examples of changes brought about by evaluation at our faculty.
➡️ Anonymity of evaluation - how it works and why you don't have to worry about it.
➡️ Personal experience with evaluation of teaching and its impact.
Come ask everything you are interested in and find out why it makes sense to evaluate.
3️⃣ Workshops: How to provide teachers constructive feedback (you must register via the form below)

Do you want to know how to provide teachers with the kind of feedback that will lead to the improvement of the learning process?
Come to the workshop led by Dr. Veronika Laufková, where you will try how to write effective feedback and improve it so that it is as beneficial as possible not only for the teacher, but also for you and your classmates.

💡 Why is it important to evaluate teaching?
You will help to improve the quality of teaching and study conditions.
Your opinion can influence changes in the approach of teachers and the organization of subjects.
You will contribute to the management the faculty learned what works and what needs to be improved.
🌟 How is it going?
The evaluation is anonymous and will take place online in January 2025.
This week is about raising awareness, explaining the process and allaying fears.
Get involved and show that you care about the quality of teaching. We look forward to seeing you during Student Assessment Week!
