About event
A movement duet from the workshop of the unique Czech group TYhle about the strength and fragility of conflict and how tension can give rise to understanding.
Before the performance at 5:00 p.m., we also invite you to a workshop on conflict with project dramaturg Barbora Liška.
(Un)boj is a performance by performers Lukáš Karásk and Florent Golfier-Brechmann, who explore conflict as a space. uncertainties, tensions and transformations - as a challenge, but also as an opportunity to understand oneself and others. Through physical and movement language, they vary the work with brute force, finesse, precision and inner energy that is transformed into physical strength. Bodies merge and separate, receive and transform the power of the other, suppress and transmit their own.
From different perspectives, the performers delve into the exploration of being in conflict - individually and in a relationship, as a common, difficult and long journey, on which everyone is on their own with their own challenges, but the direction remains common. They touch on strength and weakness, fragility and determination to act and accept. In their work, they bring different qualities of conflicts that take place on different levels - geopolitical, work, personal, internal or transgenerational.
Working with theoretical concepts and practical methods of constructive conflict resolution (Leimdorfer, Boghossian & Lindsay, Avanessian, Dobšovič) was an integral part of the development of the choreography.
How to go through a conflict without violence - with mutual respect, kindness and hope that it will bring something good?
