About event
Ored Recordings is a DIY ethnographic publishing house from the North Caucasus. Timur Kodzoko and Bulat Khalilov travel throughout the region, collect traditional and local music and curative independent projects with local musicians. Both are currently based in Germany. 🎵
At the event, the founders of Ored Recordings will discuss the political, social and decolonial dimensions of traditional North Caucasus music and translate ethnographic films along with the unreleased recordings. 🎻
In addition, Timur Kodzoko - a member of the JRPJEJ publishing house and the JRPJEJ - will show traditional Cherkek's music and will lead his first collaborative experiment with Slovak musicians. 💃
