About event
An evening dedicated to Ruthenian music from the villages of Spiš and Šariš. Ethnologist and singer Timotej Fedor, who works at the Museum of Ruthenian Culture and is dedicated to the interpretation of folk songs in their original form, will present the techniques of polyphonic singing of carols and songs from Jakuban, Veľké Lipník, Livovská Huta and Údol.
We look forward to seeing you at the strings 〰️ on Sunday early evening at 17:00 under the historic vaults of Rómer's house 🎵.
Struna will be preceded by the vernissage of Ján Kurinac's illustrations and the presentation of Ruthenian translations of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales 〰️ if you can, come early 〰️
