A talk about breast cancer? Isn't that very special and only interested in those affected?
Absolutely not when you consider that every 7th woman in this country falls into breast cancer in the course of her life and even every 2nd Central European in the form of cancer. Do we not all know someone in the family or circle of friends who are still confronted with this disease with this with many fears and taboos? And so often "out of the blue", completely unexpected - cancer actually only get the others - but I ...?
That evening it should not be about treatment methods, new therapy approaches or medical stories, this is about life! More than ever, people in exceptional situations in particular feel how valuable and fragile life is and how much we should maintain and celebrate it.
how it can be succeeded in and while the exhausting therapies can be kept to keep his joie de vivre again, to draw courage again and why every person concerned should know that at least one third has their healing themselves, three women talk about this in different ways.
Dr. med. Jutta Krocker
Emeritated chief physician of the breast center in the Sana Klinikum Berlin- Lichtenberg.
