About event
🏴Worldwide memory of all those who lost their lives last year just because of who they are - i.e. because of their trans* identity. On this sad holiday, like every year, we will gather and remember those who lost their lives because of prejudices with a silent moment by candlelight. Come not to forget with us.
We will meet at 5:00 p.m. in the street under Vítkov - access here is barrier-free, but it may be more difficult with a wheelchair without a drive due to the bigger hill, but we will be happy to help♿. After the devotional part, we will move to the nearby Safe space cafe (unfortunately, this space is no longer barrier-free) and at 6:00 p.m. we will follow up with a discussion How to deal with transphobia? with the organization In IUSTITIA on the topic of prejudice, acts motivated by hatred and how to solve these situations. 💥 You can participate in any of these parts of the program separately. Take candles, possibly flags/banners and also your loved ones or allies with you. 🕯️People of all genders are welcome!⚧️♀️♂️
The event is organized by the Trans*parent organization in cooperation with In IUSTITIA and with the support of the VIA Foundation and T-Mobile. The talk takes place as part of the project Czech Republic without Prejudice.
