START AND BEGINNING ADVANCED NIV0 (>0-2 years prior)
- the three basic sounds of the cajón (technique)
- rhythms and time signatures in general
- rhythm examples (world music)
- Flamenco (palmas and cajón)

MIDDLE AND ADVANCED LEVEL (>3 years prior)
- Elaboration / elaboration of Palo / Style: for accompaniment to dance, singing
Letras, remates, llamadas, final, in context with the structure of Palo.

If you do not have a cajón, it can be rented from Udo for €7 per time.

UDO DEMANDT (1969) studied percussion & drums / World music at the Rotterdam Conservatory. Active in Flamenco for more than 25 years:
Metropole Orchestra (Lorca Project), BvR Flamenco Bigband, Primos del Norte, Edsart Udo de Haas, Luzazul, Kika, Paco Peña, Dani Navarro, Vince Mendoza and others.
Study trips to Spain, Brazil, Italy, Cuba.
Udo teaches percussion at Codarts and EPM/Choroschool Rotterdam.
