UITGEWOOND. Een voorstelling over de wooncrisis.

Theater group Parels voor de Zwijnen is back in Amsterdam North! After the success of SNIKHEET, about the energy transition, we are now playing EXTREMELY. A performance about the housing crisis.

You're in the spotlight. 𝘇𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗻!
‘𝗪𝗶𝗷 𝗴𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗮𝗮𝗿 '' was in the neighborhood newspaper call from Magda and Berend. For social reasons, they do not want to sell their beloved home on Nieuwendammerdijk, but rent it to an urgent home seeker. From all the heartbreaking letters, they selected four candidates from Amsterdam-Noord. To get to know them, Magda has devised a game. But who is most urgent and who best suits their home? And do the candidates really have an equal chance in this alternative housing race?

OUTWOOND is about what a home means emotionally, for home seekers but also for home owners. How do Northerners, from rich to poor, deal with this?

𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿 We make performances about the increasing division. We do this from enthusiasm, solidarity and a great sense of justice. Amsterdam-Noord is and remains our laboratory from which we tell our stories. They are small stories about 'ordinary' people, but at the same time urban dramas with major consequences.
