Uitreiking Dirk Roosenburgprijs

The presentation of the 2025 Dirk Roosenburg Prize will take place on Thursday, October 16 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

This spring seven projects nominated, and the winner will be announced on October 16. The prize is presented by Mieke Verhees, councilor for housing, neighborhoods, space and services.

The jury includes: Robert Winkel, architect/partner MEI architects; Bart Reuser, architect/partner NEXT architects; Nikol Dietz, landscape architect H+N+S member cie. Roman Catholic municipality of Eindhoven; Merel Pit, editor-in-chief of the trade magazine De Architect; Fieke van den Beuken, project developer Trudo (winner of the Dirk Roosenburg Prize 2023); Ronald Rijnen (head of the Urban Planning and Heritage department).

The Dirk Roosenburg lecture, which traditionally precedes the announcement of the winner, will this time be given by Dirk van Peijpe. He is director of De Urbanisten, an internationally operating agency for urban planning and landscaping. The current projects of De Urbanisten demonstrate curiosity and dedication to contributing to a sustainable and attractive living environment for both people and 'other earthlings'. In his lecture, Dirk van Peijpe will show, based on several completed projects, how a climate- and nature-sensitive city can be created and experienced.
