The Jiří Mahen Library in Brno joins the international project of the Ukrainian shelf, which was created on the initiative of the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelensky.
The official opening will take place in the atrium of the Central Library of KJM with the participation of the Ambassador of Vasa Zvarych and his wife. The program will include video seals of the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelensky as well as the performance of the Children's Settánočky, composed of Ukrainian children who fled before the war. The group leads Mrs. Olena Vashchenko from Kharkov.
The event is part of the Brno Cultural and Společní festival, either love, which was created as a reaction to the need for a deeper connection of the Czech and Ukrainian community.
Police with Ukrainian literature can be found in more than sixty countries today, in the Czech Republic the Brno second in Prague.
