Only the fragments of the original architecture have been preserved from Bratislava's Podhradie. These two Podhradské settlements - Vydrica and Zuckermandel have an extremely rich history closely linked to Bratislava. Through their stories we will get to know many prominent personalities and commemorate important events and contexts from the history of our city.

Thanks to the opening of the Vydrice streets we will walk directly in the places where the stories happened. You will tell Kempelen's water pipe, we will tell the story of the Church of the Holy Trinity and the famous Fr. Scherz, who worked here for many years. Through the preserved Renaissance mansions to Zuckermandli, we will commemorate the times of the Ottoman Wars and Reformation, and through modern blocks we will look into the totalitarian era of our history and the controversial 1990s.

If the weather lasts us, we will go up above the Chatam Sofer Memorial to commemorate the memory of our Jewish co -forgartens of the old Bratislava.
