Only fragments of Bratislava Podhradie have survived to this day original architecture. These two settlements in Podhrady - Vydrica and Zuckermandel have an extremely rich history closely connected with Bratislava. Through their stories, we will get to know many important personalities and remember important events and connections from the history of our city.

Thanks to the opening of the streets of Vydrice, we will walk directly in the places where those stories took place.

We will start the tour at the Bratislava Meridian, pass by the Water Tower, look into the ice pits, show Kempelen's water pipes, and tell the story of the Church of the Holy Trinity and the famous Father Scherz, who worked here for many years. Through the preserved renaissance manors on Zuckermandli, we will remember the times of the Ottoman wars, and through the modern blocks we will also glimpse into the totalitarian era of our history and the controversial 90s.
Where we go will depend on how much I talk and how long we can last. (duration approx. 120 min)
