About event

The political relaxation in the sixties was used by the directors and cameramen of the army film for their own unique rendering of the topics that interested them. It was no longer just narrowly focused military creations, works with civilian themes and experimental and in many ways provocative films were also produced. The screening will present artistic experimental films by some of the directors of the army film.
Films: Legenda (1963, 10 min., directed by Jozef Sedláček) Man in the Great Hall (1964, 19 min., directed by Ivan Balaďa), Metrum (1967, 10 min., directed by Ivan Balaďa), Dream Scenes (1969, 22 min., directed by Vladimír Drha), Human is not dying of thirst (1970, 22 min., directed by Václav Hapl).
The screening is FREE, but for capacity and organizational reasons we require registration by email to: [email protected]. Your place will be confirmed.
