After a break of five years, the UNDER THE DOOM festival
is finally returning for its eighth edition.

o UNDER THE DOOM finally returns for its 8th edition and promises to involve Lisbon in an atmosphere as dark as it is engaging, with some of the most iconic names of the genre taking to the stage at MUSIC STATION (Lisbon's new concert hall, next to Gare do Oriente) in the October 18th and 19th.
No doubts remained, the bands confirmed for this return edition of UNDER THE DOOM are true legends in the most melancholic and somber fringes of extreme metal. With decades and decades of experience behind them, the Greeks ROTTING CHRIST and the Norwegians BORKNAGAR, who headline the first day of the event, are well known for the way they took their black metal roots to create dark, symphonic and progressive sounds, which deal with refute rigid stylistic definitions. Both bring with them their much-lauded most recent albums, «Pro Xristou» and «Fall», respectively.
No less famous, or influential, the Swedish TIAMAT are true pioneers of more atmospheric heavy music, will headline the second day of UNDER THE DOOM and promise to star in a show full of nostalgia, playing a line-up entirely dedicated to «Clouds» and «Wildhoney», two albums that have left an indelible mark on several generations affected by a sound that is so aggressive as an environment. A much more recent creation, the Norwegian ABYSSIC bring together former members of Dimmu Borgir, Susperia and Asagraum in their lineup, and will bring an apocalyptic and dense atmosphere to the event.
In terms of international names confirmed for this return of UNDER THE DOOM, the participation of the Italians NOVEMBRE, the Irish MOURNING BELOVETH and the Chileans WOODEN VEINS is also assured, with the nationals SINISTER, PROCESSOFGUILT, ANZV and MUSIC IN LOW FREQUENCIES completing the lineup of a An unmissable event for fans of extreme metal, in what is already expected to be an epic journey into a dark and desolate world, painted in very dark shades of grey.

Until August 31st, tickets for UNDER THE DOOM 2024 is available at €40 (day 1), €45 (day 2) and €80 (general pass).
From September 1st, ticket prices will increase by €5 for daily tickets and €10 for passes for both days of the event.
