Unesené telom: duchovná norma, ergonomická forma/Simona HANES, Patrícia PANČÍKOVÁ_VERNISÁŽ VÝSTAVY

We cordially invite you to the author's exhibition Simona Hanes and Patrícia Pančíková entitled kidnapped by the body: spiritual standard, ergonomic form, which will be ceremonially opened on July 10, 2025 at 18.00 in the VD Laboratory of Contemporary Art at Horni 36 in B. Bystrica. The interior of the Faculty of Woodworking of the Technical University in Zvolen presents the works of Simona Hanes and Patrícia Pančíková, which connect the research of the form, function and corporeality in the furniture design. Both authors examine body shaping in the form of furniture - its laws, limits and symbolic references. One work dives in the spiritual and social dimension of the female body as a liturgical and sacred object. The second analyzes the impact on the human body at its most common position-sitting, using modern and unexplored production techniques along with ergonomic-physical laws in the relationship between furniture and body.
