On November 18th, we mark the European Day for the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse. On this day, we want to send a powerful message: together, we are forming a human chain around the German Bundestag – standing up for the protection of all children.
To make sure the world takes notice, hundreds of volunteers have knitted the longest scarf in Germany – over 2,000 meters of pure solidarity! This scarf will be held by the human chain, wrapping around the Bundestag multiple times as a symbol that we stand united against child abuse.
