On September 14th, I’ll be hosting a series of Upcycling Workshops at NIO House Café Amsterdam: guiding participants to make their own aromatherapy eye pillow for yoga and meditation. Using scrap fabric (samples and deadstock) and natural fillings (grains, tea, dried flowers, herbs), you’ll design, sew, and take home a one-of-a-kind creation—perfect for self-care or as a thoughtful gift.
This beginner-friendly workshop is not only about crafting. It’s about:
-Redefining waste by transforming trash into treasure with a little imagination
-Practicing mindfulness through making things with your hands
-Building community through shared creativity
Bring your friends, kids, or just yourself for a mindful, creative break. You’ll leave with something beautiful you made—and a lighter spirit!

Time: Sept 14th. The workshop lasts for an hour and 20 minutes. There are three time slots at 1pm, 2:30pm and 4 pm.
Price: Donation based

What's included: clean, unused scrap fabric (sample, dead stock), filling materials (e.g. rice, tea, dried flower and herbs, you can make your own blend), access to necessary tools and equipment, guidance on basic sewing and invisible stitching. At the end of the session, you will take home your own aromatherapy eye pillow!
