About event
It's the late 80s. Communism is already grinding from the last one. Glasnost and perestroika appear as essential reform directions of socialist society. But independent youth live outside any directions. They define themselves against society, against parents, against the tendentious culture, seek sexual experiences, experiment with drugs, move in the environment of the counterculture, the underground and relate to the legacy of hippies and the "beat generation".
Dušák's poetic play combines real memories of this time, in which the author himself was present, with the poetry of the hitherto undiscovered poet Tomáš Munder, who died in November 1989. Together with actors Prokop Zach and Ondřej Stupka, who are two generations younger, against the background of musical improvisations by Lukáš Prchal and Aleš Kadeřábek and in the light atmosphere of Kateřina Marková, Dušák creates a space through which one can penetrate both the spirit of the time and the tension of Munder's poetry - the trapeze.
