The legendary sounder work of American composer Alvin Lucier from 1969 I am Sitting In and Room is one of the essential works of an electroacoustic experiment. The composition consists of a live text, which is recorded, its record is released back into the room and re -recorded. This process is repeated, the articulation of human language gradually disappears, the words become incomprehensible and replace them with pure resonant harmony and room tones. The work was first realized at the Guggenheim Museum in New York in 1970. It is an absolute expression of the uniqueness of the space in which the viewer and performer meet.
A part of the evening will be a discussion after the performance.
The event is part of the ÚUÚ Sessions series as part of the OOO_2025 project. The OOO_2025 project was supported by the Fund for Art Support as the main partner from the public sources.

Although he is especially known as a piano artist of contemporary classical music (Philip Glass, Steve Reich A.I.) and a member of the Cluster Ensemble Association, solo is interested in digital technologies, Sound Art and various overlap art forms.
Eva Vozárová is a dramaturgist, performer, researcher and a freelance cultural manager. She co -founded the OOO art association and the Jama project in the context of the personality of Milan Adamčiak, in which he focuses on curatorial and authorial activities in the field of soundart and intermediate art.
OOO Association was created in spring 2020 from the need to create a dedicated space for exploring the world through Sound Art, contemporary music and intermediate art. The founding members are a musician, pedagogue and intermediate artist Fero Király and Dramaturgist, Cultural Manager and Performmeka Eva Vozárová. The author's and curatorial interest of the Association focuses on projects that dive into complex relationships between human and non -non -human beings, including acoustic ecology, Deep Lekening, Environmental and Social Themes and disciplines such as anthropology, philosophy, mathematics and other areas of knowledge. We prefer considerable artistic interventions.
