About event
JAN KUNZE, DAN JEDLIČKA + TOMÁŠ ČADA and the music project MAUNA. (author's reading, music, party)
JAN KUNZE will present his fourth poetry book entitled Potom zahasni, containing texts created in the years 2020-2024. Readers who are used to Kunze's stylized, provocative poetry remotely inspired by American beatniks may be surprised by the much more personal and serious poetic position of the author's new book. This was shaped not only by the experience of parenthood, but also by concerns about the future of human society globally tested by many challenges.
In September of this year, it will be exactly ten years since DANA JEDLIČKA's collection Goodbye Little Nothing was published. The book was well received by readers and critics and was nominated for the Magnesia Litera Poetry Prize in 2015. Since the edition of the collection has been sold out for a long time, the author decided for its second edition, which is published in a new graphic arrangement and expanded with several new texts. which moves between chillout and nu jazz.
