About event
Už ZME DOMA
===
There is no music similar to what Už zme doma plays, both in the Czech Republic and abroad. It is punkishly wild, urgent, at the same time compositionally demanding, elaborated in detail with timeless lyrics. Typical is the trumpet sound, choirs, incredible pace and live performances that abound with strong energy and humor. Perhaps this is also why their audience does not grow old with them. Although to the uninitiated, their music may seem chaotic, randomly put together or improvised, the opposite is true. In their music, every note, detail, and discipline of the band matters, and similarly to a symphony orchestra, the musicians play according to the score.
An integral signature of the band is also the visual side, which is provided by artist and non-playing member Martin Velíšek. The band Už zme doma was formed in Teplice in 1985. After about half a year, Miroslav Wanek and Romek Hanzlík from the legendary punk group F.P.B joined the band. and brought with them the style of work and the otherness that F.P.B. characterized In addition to F.P.B., we already had home music. the avant-garde Rock in Opposition scene led by The Residents and, last but not least, the punk scene (Damned, Eba Grön) also have a noticeable influence. On the Czech scene they belonged and belong to the
family of groups such as Psí vojáci, Dunaj, Dybbuk or Krásné nové stroje.

BREN
===
The band BREN (Brnoenfield) presents an unmistakable sound combining elements of shoegaze, blues, slowcore and no wave with dark Czech lyrics. They emerged from the musical union between Ivo Lorenc and Šimon Podrazil, who decided to share their musical visions.
In March 2024, they released their debut album called "Tmou", recorded under the guidance of producer Michal "Amák" Šťastný in Prague Golden Hive studio. The album, imbued with dark and suggestive emotions, was released on the Kabinet Records label.
BREN draws inspiration not only from foreign performers such as Slowdive, Jay Jayle, Swans or Nick Cave, but also from the domestic music scene, with influences from Priessnitz.

DRIVE MOYA (A)
===
Hear Drive Moya's like a trip back in time, but without unnecessary hints of nostalgia. The indie and grunge of the early 90s are easily recognizable roots shaping the sound of this Viennese band, which uniquely shapes it into completely contemporary rock music. They demonstrated their ability to transform old familiars into new and novel ones already on their first album from 2019. Their new album The Great End from this year presents a conscientious mix of dreampop, post-rock and shoegaze on frankly admitted grunge foundations.
