COME TO THE SQUARES! WE MUST DEFEND OUR FREEDOM
17. November is a milestone in our history that we celebrate and commemorate every year. Slovakia became a free country in 1989 and embarked on the path of building democracy.
Democracy, however, must be constantly taken care of. Dividing society, looking for internal enemies, not following the law and not respecting the rights of minorities weakens democracy.
However, we cannot take away the freedom and dignity we have already won. We are convinced that we will defend our freedom together!
We invite you to a meeting called "In '89 we snatched our freedom, today we must defend it", where we will tell the politicians how we imagine democracy.
The protest will take place on Monday, November 17 at 6:30 p.m. at Náměstí slobody in Bratislava and will follow immediately after the end of the opposition rally, which starts at 6:00 p.m.
Please note the change: The protest was originally supposed to take place at Náměstí SNP, which is currently being reconstructed.
