About event
The walk begins with a tour of the beautiful functionalist building of the Hus Church of the Czechoslovak Church by Pavel Janák. It impresses especially with the unusual solution of the interior and the purity of shapes. At the same time, the participants will learn how the Czechoslovak Church originated and what rules were true for the construction and decoration of the choirs. For example, the founders of the Czech modern architecture Jan Kotěra, architect Alois Dryák and the great admirers of the garden cities of František Albert Libra can be seen. Part of the route is also a tour of the Colony of the Freedom of Self -help, which the pound proposed. The walk is presented by the idea of garden colonies - its author, response in the Czech environment and places where this urban concept can be encountered in Prague. Information:
