About event
🏠 The second concert of the autumn part of the chamber music festival in the house and garden of the Albrecht House Domus & Hortus Artis 2025 ☘️
🎵 Fauré is highly valued as a composer, especially for his Requiem, a number of insurmountable French artificial songs and important chamber music. He composed chamber music throughout his life, while the central element of his aesthetics remained affection for the intimate grouping. His works include beautiful piano quartet and quintets and many excellent sonatas for two tools. In recent years of Faur's life, his only piano trio D-Mol, op. 120 and the very last song, his only string quartet, both undoubtedly masterpieces of late style with considerable formal freedom, graceful lyric and unmistakable, personal language. (Kai Christiansen)
