About event
When a paycheck goes missing, you call in a hypnotist - but what happens when he starts telling the truth? One night, three people and an avalanche of confessions that no one can take back. A grotesque story about love, alcohol and the illusion that the truth will solve everything.
The play by the contemporary Russian author Vasiliy Sigarev tells the story of a married couple whose one lie gets out of hand and triggers an avalanche of further revelations.
Nadezhda and Boris, a longtime couple, are about to visit their family in Siberia. However, considerable financial resources are needed for this. When Boris loses his entire salary, his wife Nadezhda calls a hypnotist to get the truth out of her husband. But under the hypnosis, secrets are also revealed that no one really wanted to hear - and the situation quickly turns into a grotesque mix of comical and uncomfortably true moments.
