About event
The third March literary club (3/4) - Under the auspices in the rear -view mirror - we pursue a contemporary testimony of the socio -cultural situation of women and the life and authorial situation of Terézia Vansová in the "lap" constitutive nation.
Terézia Vansová will be presented by Jana Juráňová from the organization Aspekt, who was devoted not only to her creation and life, but also compiled a reader called Slovakia at home and on the road. The publication represents a lesser -known part of Vans's writings, brings texts that they can attract and often invite. Jana Oľhová reads the demonstrations of them at the event.
Terézia Vansová (1857 - 1942) is one of the most important Slovak writers of the end of the 19th and early 20th centuries, she is the founder and editor of the first Slovak women's magazine Dennica (published between 1898 and 1914), which became a manifesto of the emerging Slovak modernism. Térezia Vansová belongs to four writers (Šoltésová - Vansová - Timrava - Podjavorinská), whose works and attitudes since the last third of the 19th century have co -created the cultural and social life of Slovakia. The partners of the event are the Bratislava Foundation, Staré Mesto, National Trust n. o., aspect and Roma house.
