About event
Seven days, maybe seven years, maybe seventy will pass in one kitchen. A woman lives in it - maybe Anna, maybe Zuzana, maybe Mária. Names are not important. Even so, they will forget before they can talk. 𝗔 who will forget, will survive?
The author's production explores the female experience in the context of Slovak history - between what we remember, what we want to remember and what we were told we should remember. Women as silent bearers of memories, tellers of family myths, but also witnesses of great history.
Storytelling in the production it mixes with movement theater and video art in the flow of both collective and selective memory, which is passed down from generation to generation as a recipe - or as a trauma. What happens when the past repeats itself for so long that we no longer even know what happened and what awaits us?
