Václav Havel: Žebrácká opera

The story, the basic contours of which the author borrowed from John Gay, is supplemented by the themes of the technology of totalitarian control of the individual, the relationship to polygamy and misunderstood heroism, and takes place in present-day London. Can it still be relevant today? Is it possible to observe totalitarian elements even in today's organizations? Who sees into everything and who, on the contrary, hides everything? You will see in the production of the ensemble Now we are starting DS Horních Počernice prepared for the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the creation of Havel's text. Long live the freedom of the press!
