About event
Within the course of Materials Science, a lecture by PhDr is held for UMPRUM students and the general public. Václav Michalička, PhD. and Petry Vidomusová from the Center for Traditional Technologies in Příbor. It will focus on the archaic processing of natural materials in traditional culture.
The Center for Traditional Technologies Příbor (CETRAT) is dedicated to research and presentation of the archaic processing of natural materials. CETRAT's research ranges from the processing of nettles, cattails or needles to the bark of trees or mushrooms. At the lecture, Václav Michalička and Petra Vidomusová will present the results of their experiments as well as the historical background of the use of natural materials.
The lecture is provided by matériO' Prague as part of the Materiology course.
