Wenceslas is an iconic place and everyone knows it there!
Moment… Really?! We will show what Charles's locators have measured here and where it is possible to see what the market looked like over the course of history and what the houses that stood here in the past looked like. Around 1900, the square turned into a modern tabloid with spectacular city palaces, hotels and houses and is actually changing all the time. We will see the famous houses with their rich facades, passages and look at them with new eyes. We will discover the treasures and works of art, around which we walk otherwise unnoticed. Surroundings of the Church of Our Lady of the Snow, Peterk's House, Adam's pharmacy, crown, pearls of functionalist and Art Nouveau… beauty and ruin. Everything gets a new sense when we know the story and context!
We will follow the walk "New Town passages", ie. We will go by another route and other passages.
Meeting at 2 pm in the lower vestibule of the Můstek metro station (Na Můstek ul)
