About event
With “Still & Beyond” Vadot opens another chapter. The originally strictly limited EP Still, which was initially only available as a tape in an edition of 100 copies via Bandcamp, is now being released digitally worldwide - in a freshly remastered version and expanded to include three bonus tracks. The EP almost becomes an album: Still & Beyond.
To celebrate the day there will be a joint concert with Infamis.
The history of the band Infamis is long, the present is thin. Her appearances are rare, her last album was from 2020, since then a few singles, vinyl only. That has style. They were ennobled by Wim Wenders, who put their album “Im Westen der Himmel” on his record label and the cinematic dimension of their music became even more apparent. These urban cowboys make their way in Italian-Western style through Brandenburg, through moors and meadows bordered by pastures, unfolding mysterious depths where others only see surfaces. We meet survivors of an East German-influenced poetry of indignation who warn with force and relentlessness where others have already given up. This may seem a bit out of time, but it is a reminder of the universal character of rock, whose strong voices will never be forgotten. “ Christine Heise, RadioEins/Tip Berlin
