About event
Our November guest will be Hesna Al Ghaoui, whom we met in the Marrakech Medina in the spring.
What will we talk about?
Hesna Prima Primissima Prize -winning journalist, television reporter who has reported more than twenty countries in recent decades. He was astonished to observe the psychological and physical impact of fear, not only on the dreaded population, but also on soldiers, other journalists and himself. He began to care more closely on the topic, and he visited researchers to find out what was happening in our brains, our muscles when we were afraid and asked world -famous social psychologists about how to notice when fear begins to control our habits and behavior. He discovered amazing research that not only stress can influence our bodies and psyche, but it also works in the other way: we can learn to influence the physiological processes triggered by a sense of danger and their impact on our body.
Hesna also wrote books on the subject, before the evening we clarify which books you can buy and dedicated.
