This time, let's be part of the comfort of Ferenc Szőnyi's astonishing adventure? to your competition? When the Transcanada set up a record of one of the world's toughest self -sufficient bike races! He departed from Whitehorse on June 8th this year and from Canada's western corner to the Atlantic coast, he went 12,500 kilometers alone-he arrived in Saint John's in 45.5 days, breaking the previous 51-day record more than five days.
Taste these distances, Everest would have been climbed (starting from sea level) - the mountains, lakes and plains that affected the race were unique environmental challenges.
He had fully fulfilled the ultra - he had no escort, technical assistant or sponsorship team: every day he made accommodation, meals, bike repairs. It defied wild animals, technical errors, physical, mental exhaustion, cold, wind, rain.
