I really wouldn't have thought we would announce our 2nd Peruvian trip so quickly.
Thanks to the September group, our local leaders and the spirit of the place, we return :)
It is important to make us prepare for South America, so the following program plan may change according to local reality. Of course, the locations, the attractions are not left out :)
On the first day we arrive in Cuzco (depending on when our machine arrives), acclimatization begins (we will be 3500-3800m) at night, and then we dive into the next (2) day (2). Adventure, crossing the Andes, stops in picturesque places such as Paucartambo, but get ready for a whole day, so we arrive at the rainforest, Amazon, through the Köderdők.
On the 4th day we are preparing for Machuwas lagoon (scalding), then we arrive in Atalayaba, from where we take ourselves deeper in the rainforest. Remember, here we are moving on the border of the non-contacted Amazon Tribes ... I spent 16 days here in 2017. There will be something to tell you 🙂 The 4-5. We spend the night here, we hear, learn about local herbs, ayahuasca, flora and fauna, life here, rainforest, protection, importance of culture, knowledge, lifestyle of the Indians, the difficulty of maintaining their mere existence, etc.! Part of the participation fee is supported by the activities and existence of an Amazon nature conservation organization, Amaru Mayu Ecological Volunteer Reserve. This is no more expensive travel, as they provide local organization and leadership. It is a really authentic experience to get to know them :)
What follows is an optional occupation, but more skilled fishermen can catch our lunch with their own hands ... Later, we approach the village of Shintuya tribe to a cozy, thermal source. Also in the thick of the rainforest. We spend 2 nights here. We are sure we will not be bored here, though it will be a slowdown, an opportunity.
8th day long journey back to Cuzco.
9th and 9th day we set off to visit the sanctuary of the Holy Valley and Machu Picchu ... It is a lot of boots lists so we will not be alone.
We get a lot of stories and information about Inca culture, history, beliefs. And we can find out who they were and why the former Machu Picchu residents disappeared.
This is 2 full days and we arrive at Cuzco at night at night.
11. Day - After returning all day, we relax in Cuzco, look, buy ... by the time of his temperament.
On the 12th day, head to the famous Vinicunca - Rainbow, where we hike over 5000m or ride. APUs are the names of the mountains, the mountain deities in the Andes.
Once again, we can rest in hot spring water, our tired body, our souls.
On day 13, we prepare a sacrifice for Mama Pacha (Mother Earth), their dad, led by a local, initiated shaman master. Unique experience.
On the 14th day we are a pilgrimage to 7 holy lakes, among the majestic scenery, the six thousands mentioned above, full of miracles. For the locals, the Holy Lakes represent special energies. Since the previously mentioned master is with us, we may feel something about their respected, felt, lively reality.
In the evening we are already in Cuzco and wait for our flight to Europe.
After day 11, or on the 11th or 12th day. And some (as it has been mentioned above) will be added to a working organization for 3 decades. We see a lot in the rainforest, hear about their work, projects, and activities.
