About event
CHRISTMAS WITHOUT A HOME 🎁
In September, the association "Mezi4stěny - Pomoc večiním" planned to organize a benefit festival for the benefit of homeless people BEZDfest, but the elements put a line over our budget - at the time of the planned event on September 14, the INDUSTRA center in Brno was acutely threatened by floods. But we did not give up and decided to organize another event - HOMELESS CHRISTMAS 🎄
On the first Sunday of Advent, December 1, 2024, artists who are not indifferent to the festival's theme will meet the public at INDUSTRA in Brno - the band J.H. Krchovský and Krch-off band, Ty Syčáci, Hrozně, DJ Sheala, children's theater Mikroteatro, physical poet and performer Petr Váša, and street art artist TIMO will complement the festival artistically with his works. As part of the event, there will also be a public discussion on the topic of life on the street, moderated by an experienced outreach worker, in which some homeless people will also participate 🫶
The HOMELESS CHRISTMAS festival is supported by the Via Foundation and the Brno-Židenice and Brno- center. The proceeds of the event will be used to directly help people on the street and provide social work in the field.
