About event
Come and celebrate the run-up to Christmas in a different way, learn more about foreign cultures and experience the festive afternoon in the magical atmosphere of the museum, where foreign traditions and art meet the Czech Christmas spirit.
We have prepared two guided tours for adult visitors. The first will take you to distant Vietnam through the Vietnam near and far exhibition, while the second will reveal the charm of the historic interior of the Thimble Library. Even families with smaller children will not be disappointed - special tours of the Australia and Oceania exhibition and the Emil Holub exhibition are waiting for them, adapted to the needs and interests of younger visitors. In addition, there is a fun competition for children (and their parents) throughout the museum, in which successful puzzlers can win a small reward.
When you want to relax, try our art workshop where you can make a paper dragon .
The entire afternoon will end with a dance performance by the Kintari group, which will amaze you with traditional Vietnamese dances. At the same time, you will be able to participate in a short dance workshop and try out the dance steps yourself.
And what would Christmas be without decorating a Christmas tree? Come and help us decorate ours and together we will create an unforgettable festive atmosphere in the museum.
