Vánoce v raně novověké literatuře
Christmas in early modern literature
Event by: Muzeum literatury
Location: Muzeum literatury - Památník národního písemnictví, Pelléova 44/22, Praha 6
About event
The Christmas program will consist of baroque sermons and legendary texts. We settle down at the edge of the stable, in which the bullock and the donkey do not play the main roles, but it is not enough to marvel at the tides of light and the miracles that take place all around them. But there will also be moments for the (un)ordinary rocking and motherly comforting of the sleeping son. And at the end, three wise men from the East will come.
As part of a regular series of programs from Baroque and modern literature prepared by Miloš Sládek.
Previously: Miloš Sládek, Jean-Gaspard Páleníček.
Music accompaniment: Ensemble Ritornello (artistic director: Michael Pospíšil).
Free entry.
