Dear fans of Romani culture,
We cordially invite you to the last public event this year. Join us in a pleasant pre-Christmas atmosphere, come make original gifts, soak up the festive atmosphere and enjoy a musical performance. Free entry, reservation required at [email protected] (capacity is limited).
2-4 p.m. Christmas workshops
Christmas workshops will take place in the area of the exhibition The Story of Roma Lace, where you can try:
🧶🧵 lace crochet under the guidance of experienced lecturer Dana Kroková,
🧶🧵 beading (earrings, angels, bracelets)
🧶🧵 textile creation headband and brooch.
You may also be inspired by the exhibition The story of Romani lace, which presents the traditional craft of Finnish Romani women, Kale.
At 3 p.m., a concert by the formation of Romani artist Veronika Kačo / La Paloma and Adan Sanchez awaits you, which will enchant you with a unique combination of flamenco, Balkan rhythms and Romani music. The concert takes place in the museum cafe Beng. The capacity of the café is limited, so reserve your place in advance by e-mail: [email protected] by Friday 13 December
