Varkocs (SK)

"Medieval Hooligan Folk" zo rye island. The music of Valkocs is typical of old pagan Slavic and Hungarian acoustic folk instruments, combined with modern rhythms. The aim of their music is to revive songs played on Brumli, as they are traded in different ethnic groups living in Slovakia -(Slovak, Hungarian, Ruthenian and Goralske) therefore also sing in these four languages. The repertoire of Valkocs is based on songs that they have learned from old village masters and found in archives. They enrich with a new flavor of imaginative arrangements and almost pagan energy.
