About event
🔥 Let's connect the castles with a light signal 🔥
Light from the spotlights and flashlights will be visually connected to Revište, Šášov, Pustý Castle, Teplica and Zvolen Castle for the fifth time. The extinct castles of Peťuša and Žákýl, as well as Krupinská Vartovka and Sitno Hill, will also be added. After a successful last year, the light signal will again be involved in Vartovka at Urpin 🔦
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------. Let's find out with us! 👀
🔦 on each of the sites on Friday 14.3.2025 will be selected one expedition to verify that it will see the light signal from at least one castle. However, we will not set fires, use reflectors or strong flashlights and headlamps. If you have, be sure to take them! And we will climb to the observatory - Vartovka. We will remember why and how the towns in the area warned of danger by means of light signals from the watch towers and castles of the Pohronská Castle Road. In modern times we will use modern technologies to send a light signal to the Pustý Castle. Do not forget to take a flashlight or lantern to descend down! The event is free. The ascent is on its own responsibility. Public participation
✅ will also be joined by sites outside Pohronská Castle Road:
▪️ Vartovka Krupina
▪️ Vartova Banská Bystrica
▪️ Castle Sitno
