We cordially invite you to the educational and informational day "VOLUNTEERING IN THE SENIOR AGE".
Whether you already belong to organizations that actively involve volunteers in senior age in volunteering, or are just about to do so is thinking, you must not miss this event!
You can participate in the following activities:
1. Volunteering in health and social services, lecture (9:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.)
How to look for volunteers, requirements for their qualifications, volunteers in productive and senior
age.
Tereza Veselá, methodologist in the field of healthcare.
2. Work with volunteers in senior age, workshop (11:00 - 12:00)
Specifics when involving this target group, barriers, habits, exchange of experiences.
Markéta Procházková, volunteer coordinator at Maltese Aid.
3. Meeting of organizations working with seniors (12:30 - 14:00)
Introductory meeting of representatives of organizations that already involve senior volunteers or are thinking about it.
Kateřina Petrášová, JDC director and Iva Valentová, senior project coordinator.
The content will be a mutual presentation of activities and possibilities of
cooperation across organizations.
