Vášnivost, thriller

Theater director Koos Terpstra and young actress Nhung Dam joined forces to write a passionate romance and a supposed thriller in one. They were inspired by the films of A. Hitchcock, the creaking relationships of the drama Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf and the eroticism of the novel Dangerous Acquaintances. A very exciting bitter comedy full of surprising twists and conflicts, which take place on the ground plan of a chamber drama. A woman returns home from a trip two days early. She is looking for her husband, but the house is empty. She calls him where he is and he tells her he's at home watching TV and reading a bit. The chain of false leads and misunderstandings starts to get longer and messier. After its release, the game garnered enthusiastic critics, who highlighted, for example, "big emotions and few sentences", the fact that "the viewer is permanently on the wrong track" and that it is an "intelligent psychothriller".
