About event
✨ We cordially invite you to the annual meeting of members of our association and other guests. This event is a great opportunity to discuss current topics affecting the work of directors, screenwriters and dramaturgs.
🎤 We will start the evening with a panel discussion entitled 📺 WHERE ARE THE BOUNDARIES OF PUBLIC SERVICE? We will not only deal with these questions: The world of media has changed - is the form of public law also changing? Is entertainment in the public domain? Are commercial stations replacing public service television?
Hosts and guests of the panel discussion:
▪️ Jan Souček, general director of ČT
▪️ Tereza Polachová, content director of ČT
▪️ Michal Reitler, development director of TV Nova
▪️ Pavel Kubina, director of media and legal affairs of FTV Prima
🏆 This will be followed by the presentation of the ARAS Award, which is awarded for a significant debut of any genre with a footage of more than 30 minutes. This year's judge is Professor Martin C. Putna, literary historian, critic and social and cultural anthropologist.
